The Gujarat government has appointed Dr. Manjula A. Subramaniam as the chairperson of interim Gujarat Real Estate Regulatory Authority.

Dr. Manjula, IAS (Retd.) was the former chief secretary and ex-vigilance commissioner of Gujarat and has a vast experience in the field of Administration and Management.

As per the rules prescribed by the Central government, the real estate authority must consist of a chairperson, two full-time members and other RERA officials. Meanwhile, the state government has also formed a committee to recommend full-time members of the RERA.

When asked about the status of the RERA Gujarat website, an official told that the work is in full swing and we will launch the online platform for registration under the RERA soon.
